What I got for Christmas 2014!

What I got for Christmas 2014

A belated Merry Christmas to you all! I thought I would. like last year, write up a little blog post on what I got for Christmas. I love reading these blog posts and watching these types of videos on Youtube after Christmas so I hope some of you find enjoyment in this blog post!

Kindle Fire HD

This first gift is my main gift from the other half... a Kindle Fire HD! I am a massive reader and I am also massive on technology. I've always wanted a tablet for the longest time so Gaz did really well! I had no idea I was getting this and I have to say I am totally hooked on it. I've been blogging on it, watching videos on it, working on it... you name it! It is also good to play games on! I'm currently addicted to Crossy Road! Don't download it... you will lose your life to it.

Loverdose Tattoo Gift Set
My mum and dad always buy me a new bottle of either Loverdose or Loverdose Tattoo. Since my mum and dad bought me the original from duty free earlier this year they bought me another bottle of the Tattoo version! This little set is gorgeous and comes with body lotion.

Lorus Watch

A while back I asked Gaz for a new watch. I wear a watch every day because of work so they tend to get a bit worn very quick! I love this watch. My old watch had a silver finish to it however this watch has a gold finish to it which matches my engagement and eternity rings!

Soap & Glory Gift Set

From my auntie and cousins I got a Soap & Glory gift set. I recently purchased the massive Soap & Glory gift set so I have even more Soap & Glory now! Christmas basically means I never have to worry about restocking on pamper products! Even though I usually do anyway...

Cath Kidston Gift Set

From my cousins I got a Cath Kidston gift set. I love Cath Kidston so I am so exited to try these out!

Chelsea Boots

Gaz also got me some new Chelsea boots for work. Since I am always on my feet I go through boots like you wouldn't believe! So these are very much appreciated!

MAC Kinda Sexy Lipstick

Gaz did really well to remember that I had my eye on the MAC lipstick Kinda Sexy. I had this on for my cousins wedding. The make-up artist let me know the colour and since then I have been meaning to buy it and now I have it! Expect a full review!

Handbag

For some reason I have recently become obsessed with handbags. I had my eye on this bag for work as it has three separate compartments so it will, hopefully, keep me organised! Gaz luckily picked this up for me for Christmas so fingers crossed it helps keep me organised! Never the less it is a gorgeous handbag!

Lush - Snow Fairy, Butter Bear and Dashing Santa

I asked Gaz for a few Lush bits and bobs as I rarely treat myself to things from there. He picked me up a large bottle of snow fairy, two butter bears and a dashing Santa. Since he ordered them online they didn't have any packaging so I helped gaz rewrap them in some old bath bomb bags hense why they are wrapped up!

Bathbombs

Gaz also knows my obsession with bath bombs so he bought me a ton of the Wilkinsons bath bombs and some Bomb Cosmtics bath bombs. I cannot wait to use all of these!

Coconut and Vanilla Body Butter

Gaz also picked up a body butted from the Wilkinsons range. The coconut and vanilla scent. I love coconut scents so I can't wait to use this.

DVDs - Muppets Most Wanted and The Fault In Our Stars

Gaz also picked me up two DVDs. Muppets Most Wanted, which we watched today and loved, as well as The Fault In Our Stars... such a tear jerker!

French Connexion Brush Set

From Gaz's brother I got two presents. The first was a French Connexion brush set. I always love trying out new make-up brushes despite having far too many for just one face! I also badly needed a new eyelash curler!

Victoria Secret Bombshell

I also recieved some body shimmer from Victoria Secret. I've never tried this however I am exited to give it a go!

Yankee Candle - Candy Cane Lane

I am slowly becoming obsessed with Yankee Candle... okay I am VERY QUICKLY becoming obsessed! I have had my eye on this Candy Cane Lane candle for the longest time. It smells exactly like candy canes! How do Yankee do it? I've been burning this for hours since Christmas and I plan on saving it for next Christmas too.

Floral Dress

Now on to clothes! I did forget to photograph a scraf and glove set from M&S that my mum and dad got me so pretend that those are here. Gaz picked me up a few clothes including this lovely floral dress.

Black T-Shirt

He also got me this plain black t-shirt...

Red Skater Skirt

... as well as this red skater skirt!

Red Skater Dress

My mum and dad bought me a few dresses from Select this year. They always do well picking dresses for me! I love this red patterned dress - it is lovely and soft too!

Floral Maroon Lace Dress

As well as the previous dress my mum and dad bought me this maroon and black lace dress. I absolutely love lace dresses so I am very happy to have another one to add to the ever growing collection!

PJs

Lastly, what is Chrismtas without new PJs? My mum and dad got me some new PJ bottoms from Asda and a fluffy jumper as me and Gaz tend to layer up rather than putting the heating on! I must admit I look very cool with a panda chilling on my tummy. If there is ever a day I have a pregnancy bump this will be the only jumper I will wear just because it will look so funny!

So there you have it! All my little pressies from Christmas 2014! I want to say a massive thank you to everyone - you were all so generous! As for my readers I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! What presents did you end up getting? What was your favourite gift? Let me know in the comments!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

As promised here are the last three days of the No7 calender. I must admit I am really sad that it is over! Can we make a beauty advent calender for every month of the year? Whilst I ponder that dream becoming a reality click the links below to check out the previous days and what little treats were hidden behind each door!

No7 Gel Look Nail Colour

Day number twenty two brought another nail polish however this one is for the Gel Look range!. After the No7 glitter polish I have high hopes for this one! I must admit £7 is a bit more than I would usually pay for a normal nail polish however I will give this a go and see how I find it! Much like the other No7 nail polishes their gel look polishes are available for £7.

No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil

Day number twenty three brought another eyeliner in the colour brown. I must admit I don't use a lot of eye liners and when I do it is black... and usually liquid or gel! However I have been using this lately as an eyebrow pencil and I have to say I have fallen in love with it for that! The No7 eye pencils are available for £6.50 here.

No7 Protect & Perfect night cream

Day number twenty four brought a Protect & Perfect night cream. As I have said in the previous posts I have already tried the Protect & Perfect serum so to now have the day and night cream to use alongside it is fantastic! The full size of the Protect and Perfect night cream is available for £23.

No7 Stay Perfect Duo Nail Colour

Lastly, for day number twenty five, was a Stay Perfect Duo Nail Colour which left me a bit underwhelmed for the last day! I love the gold colour however to team it with the pink polish seems rather odd... that and I'm not a pink type of girl! Either way I will give it a go! You can pick this up for £6 at Boots here.

So there you have it! The Boots No7 calender is long gone and we are now on our way to 2015! What did you think of the Boots No7 calender? How was your calender? Let me know in the comments below!

Home: George at Asda Christmas Spice Diffuser

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas yesterday! I thought I would keep the Christmas theme alive and post about a scent that has been making my home smell like my very own grotto! The George at Asda Christmas Spice Diffuser.

George at Asda Christmas Spice Diffuser

First of all the price for this diffuser was absolutely amazing! At £5 it is miles cheaper than a lot of diffusers I have been looking at. Of course now that the festive season is, sadly, behind us you may be able to get it even cheaper in the holiday sales!

Secondly the scent is gorgeous. As the name would suggest the diffuser has a lovely spice scent which is very warm. Basically the smell is full on Christmas!

Lastly the actual diffuser is gorgeous! I plan on keeping this as a decorative piece even after it is used up! The little star pendant adds that festive touch!

What Christmas scent are you loving? Do you have any favourite diffusers? Let me know in the comments below!

Soap & Glory - The Next Big Thing

Frankly this blog post might be a bit useless now as this gift set is no longer available however I thought I would blog about it anyway! Those Soap & Glory lovers like myself will know about the yearly big sets that they do. They are massive sets of around 10 products that are on sale at a  ridiculously cheap price for the amount you get! Last year was The Yule Monty, which you can check out my blog post on here, which I absolutely loved.

Soap & Glory - The Next Big Thing

This year was The Next Big which was £29 down from £60. The Next Big Thing has a lovely box that is designed by Hattie Stewart. I must admit I prefer the bag from last year as it can actually be reused as a bag! However I am keeping and using this box to store replacement products out of sight! The products come in a lovely pink bag inside the bag which can be re-used to carry around toiletries or even as a separator for them in packed luggage. You can check out the set on the Boots website here.

Soap & Glory - The Next Big Thing

Here is everything that comes in the set!

  • THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER Body Butter 300ml
  • HAND DREAM Super Cream 100ml
  • ORANGEASM Body Wash 500ml
  • BUTTER YOURSELF Moisture Lotion 500ml
  • HEEL GENIUS Foot Cream 125ml
  • SUGAR CRUSH Body Scrub 300ml
  • WHIPPED CLEAN Shower Butter 250ml
  • SEXY MOTHER PUCKER Lip Lacquer in Charm Offensive 7ml
  • THICK & FAST Super Volume Mascara 10ml
  • OFF YOUR FACE 3 in 1 Daily Purifying Cloths (25 cloths)
  • A bonus drawstring bag
As you can see you get a lot! I have linked up the products I have tried and reviewed so far and I will be linking up any future reviews!

Did you manage to get your hands on this set? Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

We are ever so close to Christmas! I'm so exited! As far as days 22-25 are concerned I will try and get that blog post completed for Boxing Day. As I'm sure you can understand I will be wanting to spend my Christmas Day away from a computer! Now that the technicalities are out of the way let's take a look at days 15-21! You can check out days 1-7 here and days 8-14 here

No7 Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil

Day fifteen brought a black eyeliner. I've tried some No7 eyeliners in the past and to be honest they're not my favourite. They're not bad but a bit dry and hard to work with. I'd be tempted to use this as a base for a gel or liquid eyeliner or for the water line. You can check out the No7 eyeliner here. It's £6.50 and is available in a variety of shades.
No7 Essential Lip Brush

Day sixteen brought the essential lip brush. I have been delving more and more in to lipsticks so this couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I have used this a few times and it does the job well! You can check out the essential lip brush here which is available for £7.

Next, on day seventeen, was the No7 Intense Volume mascara. I've had a sample of this in the past with a Christmas gift set and absolutely loved it! I can't recommend it enough! It separated the lashes beautifully and adds such fantastic volume. The full product is available here for £9.95 and is available in black, brown and blue.

No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow

Day eighteen brought yet another shade of eye-shadow. I like this shade as it is very neutral and can be used to blend out the more deeper colours you may want to use on your eyes. It also has a slight shimmer so it would make a nice highlighter for my skin tone.  The No7 eye-shadows are available here for £7. From what I can see on the website there are a fantastic amount of shades available.

No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour

Next behind door number nineteen was a second nail polish... a beautiful silver glitter one in the shade Disco Ball! I can tell you I am currently wearing this and I absolutely love it! I am very tempted to buy more glitter polishes from No7 after trying this one! The No7 polishes retail for £6.

No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Hand Cream

Day number twenty and five sleeps till Santa arrives brought a little beauty! The No7 Protect & Perfect hand cream. I love the protect and perfect range and anyone that knows me will know how obsessed I am with hand creams. This hand cream retails for £10.50 for a full sized 75ml. I've tried this a few times in the past two days and I really love it!

No7 Stay Perfect Metallic Eyes Pencil

Lastly behind number twenty one we have another No7 Stay Perfect eye liner however this one is metallic and comes with a smudger on the end! The shade is metallic grey and I can see it coming in handy over the holiday period! It's a nice addition to my eye-liner collection! These eye-liners are available here for £6.50 and in a variety of shades.

So there we have it! We are so very close to the end! I've really been impressed with the calender so far and I'm looking forward to the final days 22-25! What do you think of this calender so far? Let me know in the comments!

*MooGoo Natural Skincare - Review*

Anyone that knows me is aware that I struggle with my skin. I have various different skin conditions so finding a skin care that works is difficult. When MooGoo gave me the fantastic opportunity to try out some skincare products I just had to say yes! You can check out MooGoo on their website here.

MooGoo Natural Skincare

Firstly... how cute was the little box it was sent it? Mooove with care! Oh this tickled me too much. The box before I even opened it smelled absolutely amazing!

MooGoo Natural Skincare

Upon opening the box was this cute little satchel full of skincare goodies. I've actually kept a hold of this bag as it is so adorable!

MooGoo Natural Skincare

I was sent two sample sizes of each of the products they sent me. They sent the soothing MSM cream, the irritable skin balm and the milk wash.

MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream

The soothing cream really was fantastic. On the odd days when my allergies and skin conditions flare up on my face I run to this cream. It immediately soothes my skin and leaves it feeling silky soft. Since it was a cream it was hydrating but not too thick so it went perfectly underneath my make-up.

MooGoo Irritable Skin Balm

The irritable skin balm is very similar to the soothing cream in that it helps calm my skin and any flare ups. However since it is a balm it is much thicker and perfect for those days when your skin needs that extra bit of moisturising.

MooGoo Milk Wash

The milk wash is my absolute favourite and is perfect for travel. It cleans the skin beautifully leaving it feeling smooth and nourished. It has a fantastic lather to it and really does clear the skin of any residue and even make-up!

All these products have a lovely sweet scent with a hint of a milk scent which I love. They are so basic and simple yet work wonders for the skin! A must have recommend from me for all those suffering with their skin like myself!

Have you got sensitive skin? What products would you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

Fashion - George at Asda: Satchel

For the longest time I have been trying to find a plain, basic and affordable satchel. I love the look of these bags. They are perfect for date nights/going out as they look smart. They are also as big as a standard handbag so you can still carry everything with you.

George at Asda: Satchel

I finally found the basic and affordable satchel of my dreams. I can't tell you how much I love this bag. It has fast become my handbag for outside of work and for the weekends. It is perfect and ties in nicely with any outfit! I picked this up from George at Asda for an amazing £12. I don't know about you...but I go through handbags at an alarming rate! Especially work handbags as I seem to overload them with rubbish... therefore £12 is an absolute steal for something I can reserve for nights out and the weekends!

Have you found the perfect satchel? What is your dream handbag? Let me know in the comments below!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 8-14

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 8-14

So here we are already at days 8-14... December is going as quick as the rest of 2014 did! Anyway let's take a look behind each door! If you missed my look at days 1-7 check it out here!

No7 Radiance Exfoliator

Behind door number eight was the No7 Radiance Exfoliator. I must admit I have a few exfoliators I wan't to get through so I am keeping this for a later date or for travel as it is very convenient. The full 75ml product is available here at Boots for £8.50.

No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream

Day nine brought something that I am very pleased with! The No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream. I already use the serum from No7, which I reviewed here, so I was exited to use this alongside it. I absolutely love this combination of products and I hope to be writing a full review up soon! The full product is available here for £23.

No7 Blissful Body Wash

Next behind number ten we are making a return back to the bath and shower products with this No7 Blissful Body Wash. The smell of this is absolutely lovely. Much like the exfoliator I have tons of body washes to get through so I will be reserving this for travel or when I use a few more body washes up! However I am exited to try it! The full size product is available for £7.50 at Boots here.

No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-up Remover

Next behind door number 11 was the No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-up Remover. I must admit I have been wearing a lot more eye make-up lately with it being the holidays so this was well received! It reminds me of a micellar water in that it is incredibly easy to remove make-up with this! You can pick up the full product here for £8.50.
No7 Stay Precise Eye-liner
Door number twelve was a pain! As you can see it unveiled the No7 Stay Precise Eye-liner. It was an absolute pain to get out of the box! I've tried this already and honestly it wasn't my favourite. It was so dry... I don't know if it had dried out in the box but it was very hard to work with. Still it was nice to try it out! The full product is available here for £7.50 if you prefer a drier formula.

No7 High Shine Lip Crayon

I was very pleased with door number thirteen. It revealed another No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in another beautiful shade. I love these they are absolutely gorgeous! These little beauties are available for £9 at Boots.

No7 Completely Quenched Moisturising Body Lotion

Lastly for today we have door number fourteen which revealed the No7 Completely Quenched Moisturising Body Lotion. During this cold weather this is fantastic to have in and I'm very exited to try it. The full 200ml size is available here for £8.50.

What do you think of the No7 Advent calendar so far? What has your advent calendar revealed? Let me know in the comments below!
