*Pond's Institute Cold Cream - Cleansing Softening Cream - Review*

Hello everyone! Today we are talking about a cleanser which I have been falling in love with over the last few weeks. Pond's Institute contacted me asking if I'd be interested in taking a look at a few products. I have become a little bit obsessed with skincare lately so I was more than happy to try out a few new products!

Pond's Cold Cream is available from Boots here for £4.99. You can also check out the details on this product on the Pond's Institute website here. The whole idea behind this cleanser, to give you a brief summary, is that it is not only supposed to cleanse without drying out the skin and leave your skin feeling soft.

The packaging is so cute! The glass jar really makes the product feel expensive and luxury. This is the perfect size jar at 50ml. Perfect for travel! I have recently been away from home and I actually took this in my toiletries bag as a more portable cleanser!

Now on to the product itself! The cream is so thick! It is almost like a body butter. I knew immediately that my eczema suffering skin was going to love this as it felt so moisturising just on my finger tips. Although it is thick it applies on to the face pretty thinly and easily. After applying this to the skin you simply rinse it off. I find that this cleanser really dissolves make-up fast making it the perfect night time cleanser! It is also perfect for night time as it leaves my skin feeling moisturised and soothed rather than tight and tired like it sometimes can at the end of the day! It is also a great cleanser to use when you're not wearing any make-up or as your secondary cleanse.

I also love to use this as a cleansing face mask. I love to do this with all my cleansers really! I really love wearing this as a mask as my skin visibly appears even and feels so smooth! I just love this cleanser so much! I think... I have found my new favourite!

Have you tried any Pond's products? What is your favourite cleanser? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I'm glad you loved the product so much! I remember when I was a little girl my mom would ALWAYS use Ponds... now that I'm older I want to try them too!

  4. I love ponds, I always used to use it to take my make up off. If you go abroad in Europe you can get tons of different types, and they even do really cheap make up wipes over there so it's worth a look out if you're going on holiday! :)

  5. I use a cold cream from Ponds, too. I'm not sure if this is the same one coz they're different packaging. but I use mine to remove my makeup like a balm :)
